10. Opening our list of the Top 10 PC Open World Survival is Shelter Unlike most games on this list, Shelter boasts a harmless adventure about love and family.
Survive the hostile wilds and guide a mother badger and her cubs to safety. Encounter deadly bird of prey, nighttime terrors or mother nature’s unforgiving changes. Explore a world designed for a casual experience. It’s not a triple A game that boasts explosions and lush graphics. It’s a game intended to create art and make players feel entertained. To survive the forest, feed your cubs and scavenge for food scattered around its world. But its myriad of challenges poses a bigger threat than just an empty stomach. Make your way through dangerous landscapes and immerse in the game’s beautiful soundtrack. The only way to survive is to find shelter, and that’s your only hope. It has a PlayScore of 7.63 9. Dead Island Techland’s first game was a game-changer to the open-world zombie survival genre https://drainingsouls.net/. Set in a fictional island, follow the lives of four people after a night of intense partying. A mysterious outbreak has plagued the island causing everyone to become flesh-eating, psychopathic creatures. This is how the game begins. Once you step out in its world, experience a nightmare where luck is your only hope for survival. Grab a suitable weapon and smack those undead to gain experience points. The game has a mix of RPG and action elements. Upgrade your skill tree and customize weapons to your liking in its Weapon Modding feature. With the game’s success, it spanned a couple of standalone expansions and even gave hope for a possible sequel that’s coming out sometime soon. Dead Island has a PlayScore of 7.94 8. Dying Light When we expected a sequel to Dead Island, Techland instead gave us a whole new IP. This first-person survival game lets you roam around a fictional third-world city quarantined due to a viral outbreak. The game is in a way similar to Dead Island. Players can explore a city populated with flesh-eating creatures, and you can choose to fight or run away from them. Aside from its parkour and a bigger world, the game’s twist lies in its day and night cycle. At daylight, scavenge and find important resources, while at nighttime, survive a horrific experience as you encounter powerful zombie types that would rip you to shreds in seconds. It’s in these day and night moments Dying Light stand out, and that doesn’t even count the amount of new DLC’s that the developers continue to pour in the game. It has a PlayScore of 8.14 7. Dead Rising Keiji Inafune’s take on the zombie survival genre takes it into a different approach. Instead of running away from these braindead monstrosities, why not we take our time and use them as enjoyment? The survival of the species still pose a greater threat, but who’s to say we can’t have fun while we’re at it? It’s the first game of the series. Follow Frank West, a freelance photographer caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Find out the cause of this sudden virus and show them who Frank West really is. Scavenge materials, craft absurd weapons, and take down hordes of undead in style. Survive for at least 3 days inside the infested shopping mall, and unlock the game’s multiple endings. It has a PlayScore of 8.23 6. State Of Decay Another Zombie game on the list. Undead Labs’ State of Decay is a single player adventure that takes you to a land filled with the undead. Create your own story by meeting new faces and build settlements so that you could live to tell the tale. It’s third-person gameplay was met with good praise, but it’s lack of multiplayer made the game boring. That’s what sequels do. Compared to the Year One Survival Edition, this doesn’t feature the new stuff including two gameplay modes called Breakdown and Lifeline without you purchasing it. It contains the base game with deep survival mechanics and unique stories to tell. We can’t wait for the sequel, because this game has a PlayScore of 8.35 5. The Long Dark Explore Canada's icy wilderness in this one of a kind survival game from Hinterland Studio. Scavenge for the tiniest morsels, stave off the bitter cold, and fight against the hungry predators.

Yellow Productions presents Six Things to Know Before You Go to Fukuoka in Japan. I'm Chris. - And Topher. - This is Yellow Productions.
We do travel guides that are fun, informative, and entertaining. This is part of our series on Japan. If you want to see more of them, you'll find a link in the description below. Or if this is your first time here, make sure to subscribe to not miss any of our new Japan travel guides, coming at you, new videos every week. But we're here to talk about Fukuoka. Fukuoka sits on the northern tip of Kyushu get the first deposit bonus in Canadian casino. It is the southern-most of Japan's four main islands. It's a city of 1.4 million people, and this place, as compared to Tokyo, it's pretty, well it's pretty laid back. Tokyo is hustle and bustle. You can come to Fukuoka to enjoy a little bit more laid back Japan. Today's Fukuoka is a product of two cities. It's a product of Hakata and Fukuoka. Actually, we're in front of Hakata Station. And so this was one of the original central districts of Fukuoka. It is now the main train station. The other main train station is called Tenjin. But speaking of trains and transportation, let's head inside the train station, we'll talk about getting around Fukuoka for number two. Okay, number two, getting to Fukuoka. Let's talk about getting here. Chances are if you're coming to Fukuoka, you will be coming through Hakata Station. Most cities in Japan have a train station that's the name of the city, Tokyo Station, Kyoto Station. In Fukuoka, the main train station is Hakata Station, and you'll be passing through this eventually. If you're flying into Fukuoka, one of the nice things is the airport, it's just a five-minute subway ride from this main train station. That is if you're coming in the domestic terminal. If you're coming in the international terminal, well, then it's a 15-minute bus ride because the domestic and the international terminal, they are not connected. The other great way to get to Fukuoka is to take the Shinkansen. The Shinkansen is the bullet train in Japan. It is two and a half hours from Osaka. If you're coming from Tokyo, then you'll probably want to fly into Fukuoka, because it's about five hours by Shinkansen from Tokyo. Your other option, you could drive. Rent a car, come down to Kyushu. Kyushu's not as busy or crazy as Tokyo. It probably won't be super useful for you in Fukuoka, but it will be great if you're going out to some of the rest of Kyushu. By the way, if you want to know more about Kyushu, watch my travel guide on 10 Things to Know Before You Come to Kyushu. That's the region that Fukuoka is in. Okay, so now let's talk about getting around Fukuoka once you're here. The main methods of transport in Fukuoka, there's the subway. There's three or four different city subway lines. There's the Nishitetsu bus and train. That is a private train company. There's the JR Line, there's the Shinkansen, there's buses, and, of course, there's taxis. Oh, and did I mention? There's your feet. Topher has little feet, you can walk around, too. Central Fukuoka is very walkable. Getting around New York can't be challenging to someone that's not from here but there are two main ways to do it.
The first way is using a taxi and you can tell if they're available, if you look at that taxi right over there, the numbers are lit up that means it's available and if I just go like this with my hand, the guy will actually come right over here and I can get in the taxi. If the lights are off that means someone is in the car. The thing about taxi's though is that their expensive and sometimes it can take more time using the taxi then using the subway. So really subway, in my opinion, is better even though kind of smells in New York and it's not the cleanest but it's a more efficient way of traveling so let's go check out the subway now and I'll show you how to buy a MetroCard. One of the really cheap ways to get around in New York City is actually using our subway system which although it's not the cleanest in the world and it doesn't smell that great it's a pretty fast way to get around so I'm going to show you how to buy a MetroCard. The key to knowing this is that you got to do it as fast as you can because New Yorkers don't like to wait. Let's start. Choose your language. If you're here for a week I recommend doing - so get a new card - see it's a $1 fee that applies. It's kind of ridiculous but that's what they do. Get a regular MetroCard. I recommend doing either nineteen or twenty six dollars and that's because you can just add more as you go. I want to go ahead and do $26 and you can do any of these options. I always like credit card. If you are not from the US make sure to have your card charged in USD. It will save you money with the foreign transaction fee. I'm just gonna dip my card here. Hit enter and then just hit okay. It's gonna process that payment and then shoot out a MetroCard right here and then you have your MetroCard. So how you use this MetroCard. Make sure the black strip is face down and facing towards you. Slide it through like this. It will tell you right there. And then you're in the subway! If you're looking for cool things to do, make sure you head over to my website it's linked below. I've done so many things as a New Yorker and my favorites are on my site. That's a wrap everyone. Those are all the things that you should know before visiting New York. Thank you for watching, subscribe, follow me on Instagram @sarahfunky, and I will see you next time. My favorite is Queens Comfort right here it might not look like much on the outside but this place has been covered by so many TV shows.
I love this place because they have really, really unique combinations of food. For example they're "down by law" which is what I got right here, it's so so so delicious. It has bacon jam, roast chicken, sriracha mayo, avocado. It's so good but the other stuff they have here is unbelievable. They have Captain Crunch crusted tilapia. They got a bacon jam thing. It's just a really unique place. It's been featured on a lot of popular TV shows and this place is almost impossible to get into on a weekend so if you can I recommend coming during the weekday when there's literally no one here. We just had a delicious meal and now we got the receipt. One thing you have to keep in mind here is tipping is essential in New York and anywhere in the USA actually. The reason for this is because waiters don't get paid a lot of money, so they heavily rely on tips to pay for their very expensive New York City rent. This bill was $28 you're gonna want to tip around 20 percent on that. It's gonna be about a $5 tip. Other things that you need a tip on is taxi's, spa services, hairdressers, tour guides, you need to tip all of them here it's pretty much required. If you need to exchange your money when you come here in the US don't, under any circumstances, go to these exchange services. They have really terrible rates. Especially in Times Square area or near hotels. I recommend just going to an ATM and take your money out there just first check with your bank and see if they have any partnerships with local US banks because then you could avoid foreign transaction fees. You'll save a lot of money this way. You finally got to New York and now you want your cell phone to work here. Well, I recommend taking the T Mobile Plan right here. They have an amazing plan. It is $30 for 3 weeks of unlimited data here in the US. All you need to do to prepare for this plan is to call you cell phone provider in your home country. Tell them to temporarily unlock your phone And then you can get a local SIM card when you arrive. And then you can use Google Maps, you can use everything you need to get around the city. It's the best way to get around New York so make sure you do that when you're here. Public restrooms are pretty hard to find in New York City. Most places won't let you use their bathroom. What I always recommend is either find a Starbucks because they're literally on practically every street corner or Grand Central has a really good public restroom. It's clean, it doesn't smell, which is a rare find in New York. Just do that. But mainly just go to the bathroom before you leave your hotel or museum or whatever you're doing and you'll be good to go. Today we're betting on superheroes. Let's talk about that! ( music playing ) Good Mythical Morning! Today we've got a super, supa, supa-- - Supa play keno nz.
Supa. - Supa. Supa. - Supa. Supa. - Supa, supa. - Supa. - Supa show! - It's gonna be great. - Yeah. Rhett and I are gonna guess a mystery object - Mike and Alex have destroyed. - Yes. Also Rhett is gonna expose the secret all redheads are hiding. Hmm, but first, speaking of exposing, we have a very exciting superhero game to play. Yep, strip poker with superheroes but don't get your hopes up too high. We're striping away our normal boring clothes and exposing our superhero identities underneath. So, no actual nudity. It's time to play... We have a very special guest today. My family hangs out with her every Tuesday night 8/7 central on The CW. She's Iris West from "The Flash." It's Candice Patton! - What up? What up? - ( cheering ) - Welcome to the show, Candice! - Thanks for having me. - We all look amazing! - Yeah! Gosh, I've never looked better, honestly. Well, now on on a recent episode of The Flash you got super suited up. How was that? It was amazing. Strapped on some leather-- - No spoilers! - Oh! I mean, that's not a spoiler. That's what superheroes do. They wear leather. - That's just a good time. - Yep. Just a normal Saturday night for you. And you're actually wearing a super suit - underneath all these clothes right now, aren't you? - I am. As are we, Rhett. And here's what we're gonna do. We are gonna face off in a game of strip poker to slowly reveal our super alter egos, which explains why we have these layers and look like we just entered the Witness Protection Program. This would be kind of a giveaway-- I don't think-- - I am not a witness. - This is not how they advise the Witness Protection people to dress. This is how I'm gonna dress. When you remove enough clothes for you identity to be revealed, you are eliminated and in honor of "The Flash" television show, one of our favorites, losers will have to eat flash-fried mystery meat from the Good Mythical kitchen. Now if you've never played poker, don't worry. Just enjoy watching us take our clothes off. All right, let's ante up and get going. And I say this should be the gloves, because I-- - Yes. - The ante is a force bet for those of you new to poker. That means that every round there's gonna be something that we have to throw in there. Now I'm gonna cut these cards. They have been shuffled. You can't get more cards. This is your hand. - This is the hand that you have to-- - Whoo, boy! What a hand it is! Mmm-mm-mm. Candice, because you are left of the dealer, - Yep, I go first. - you go first. - In terms of betting. - Terms of betting. I will-- What you going for there? Sunglasses. - Sunglasses? - Yep. - Is that it? - I can bet more? - Yeah. - What do you mean? Like-- Oh! - Okay, yeah. - Oh! - Sunglasses-- - Oh, dang. So, right here, prime example of a chart working on Ripple, which of course is a cryptocurrency. Yeah, 30% in less than a day, like I said, pretty nice profit window even if you didn't quite play it perfect, you played it half right, a quarter right, and that's still some nice percentages given the amount of time, and it was all dictated by forming a logical entry point for that trade, and logical entry points, logical exit points, how to manage trades, and in a nutshell, how to manage the unknown, that is what technical analysis and charts is all about, because once again, yes cryptocurrencies have volume, something is changing hands, and yes, they both have price and value associated with that something that is exchanging hands within the market. If you are interested in learning charts, I would love to help you out. My only sales pitch to you is, if you like all the other free content that I have on my YouTube channel, have on my website, then you will for sure like my premium content that I offer, so I'll put a link down below to the courses that I offer. And sure, none of them are called cryptocurrency trading, or crypto-trading or anything like that, but they're all teaching you how to use a chart.
And as you saw, when you know how to use a chart, then you're about 95% of the way there in terms of trading cryptos, so give those courses a look. Like I said, if you enjoy my free stuff. If you hate this video, if you hate all my other free stuff, then yeah, definitely don't spend your money on those courses. But if you do like this stuff, then yeah, you will definitely enjoy that stuff, so check it out. If you are out there trading alone currently, and maybe are in the market looking for a community to join to assist you in your trading, or to just help you give you another set of eyeballs, then I do have a private trading community where you can trade alongside me and other experienced traders. So what you see popping up on the screen right now is both an information link, so if you click on the Inner Circle one, that is going to take you to the page where I explain all the details of what exactly come with the community, both the chat room and the newsletter. And then the other image that has popped up is a behind the scenes tour, where you can see exactly what is going to be contained within the community. I take you through like I said, a behind the scenes tour of everything, and that way you'll know precisely what you are getting when you join. So definitely check that stuff out if you are interested and thinking about wanting to join a community, and let me know if you have any questions. Does it work in this case? Yes, as you're about to see, it does indeed work, however I don't want you to think, I don't want to come across as somebody that's trying to portray that hey, if you let me teach you how to use charts, then you're gonna just, it's gonna be easy money, it's gonna happen so fast because this is the secret sauce, this is the secret strategy, no. They are a tool, they are used to manage the unknown, but like anything else, nothing is ever gonna be right. If something was always right, then by definition it wouldn't work anymore, because everybody would do it, which would just kind of convolute the effectiveness of it.
So let's just go through it, and you're gonna see like I said, you saw the video, you saw me using the chart to talk about kind of the things going forward, so let's just kind of sit back and then see how this all unfolds. So, as time goes by, and again each one of these represents 30 minutes of time. So 30 minutes is going down and obviously the key level to keep an eye on is that 78-cent mark, as that is what I really kind of base the whole analysis on in the premise that you heard me talk about. So the price is just kind of chugging along, and all of a sudden, the bears start to show up. Price starts to drop, now the price is starting to drop that much more. And now things are getting really rough. I mean, to think that not that long ago, the price was up here around 90 cents, now it's all the way down there, and you can see the price is dropping pretty quick. It is approaching the green line support, which I talked about, and right there, went down to a low of .79594. So let's just call it right there at essentially 78, and then right there you can see that right there once again, at a basically 78 cents, as far as where these lows are. The low of this one was right there at .77802, so we'll round up and there it is right there at 78 cents, and you can see now the price has started to show some signs of going sideways, some signs of consolidation, so we'll just kind of let things unfold there. And you can see now, what a coincidence, I mean when you really stop and think about it, the price rolled over and was going down, and down, and down. What a coincidence, what a coincidence right there. This is why I laugh, this is why you should always look at people with a skeptical eye that says, charts are worthless, charts are a total joke. Past history tells you nothing, that's all based on old information. Now you should also look at somebody with a skeptical eye if they're saying, yeah, charts work all the time, charts are the holy grail, charts are the secret sauce, no. There is definitely a middle ground there. And I am trying to convey, the middle ground is that yeah, they have their use. It's not always gonna work, but they have their place, and when you can understand a chart, you are able to outline and manage risk and reward and all that good stuff. So watching the rest of this unfold, and we'll kind of get to it, but you can see the bounce there continues, and it continues and it goes all the way up as high as a $1.02. And I ran the calculations on that, and that was a 31% profit window. Now, am I saying that you would have absolutely nailed and capitalized perfectly on this 31% right here? I am not saying that you would have nailed 31%, but let's say you maybe played it half right. That's still a nice 15% gain all in the period of basically just a few hours. So I mean a few hours and getting 15%, heck, let's just say you only got eight, nine, 10% on it. Given the context of it all happening in the same day, I'm pretty sure you can't walk down to your local bank. I mean you can, and if you do do this, please record it, but hand your, the bank teller some money and say, hey, I want an 8%, I want a 9%, I want a 10% return by the end of the day, and record their reaction. They're gonna look at you like a crazy person. So keep things in context, a very nice move happened here, and this was all based on the chart. And like I said, none of this happened in hindsight, the chart was posted, you heard me talk about all this, and then surprise surprise, right off of 78 cents is where the price bounced, leading to, as you see here, a 30% profit window where even if you didn't play it perfectly, still plenty of opportunity to make some money, and that's the name of the game. What’s your name? - Eugene. What did you think of that? It was awesome.
Yeah, I loved the way It’s being called the rise of geek culture. As a lifelong card-carrying member of that group I just think everyone else is catching up. But what I do think is great about it is that whatever you’re passionate about whether you’re a Star Wars fan or a Star Trek or a World of Warcraft fan or a Marvel fan, whatever it is I think what we’ve started to see is people celebrating things that they believe in and love. Literally, tears in my eyes this website. It brought us back the whole series It’s all I want to hear. Even the Lords of War thing, I’m just geeked up. I can’t wait. -Yeah. (Scream) What was that? Yes! We only really ever built games to please ourselves. I wanted to work on WoW because I wanted to play in a world like WoW. I knew from the age of about 14 this is what I wanted to do with my life. This was back in the day when it took one programmer and you could make a game by yourself, think of games like Berserk or Asteroids. Really simple. That’s kinda where I started. So, while at UCLA working on a computer science degree I knew that I wanted to start Blizzard the day that I graduated. I think our class was around 300 students but there were maybe 10 of us that would finish our two-month projects in the first week and spend the next, you know, month and a half optimising our code. And I took these guys and started to show them the vision I had. Instead of being sapped off to the Microsofts and the IBMs of the world that we could try and do something, a little different. Blizzard has been around for going on 24 years. When we started, a development team could be two and a half people. The experiences that we deliver to our players today require hundreds, arguably thousands, of people. One of the things that Blizzard has done well over the years is take types of games that have only appealed to a narrow audience and make them more accessible. They’d done that with real-time strategy games. They’d done that with action RPGs. And that’s their particular genius and they did that with WoW taking a type of game that appealed to a narrow audience and making it broader. We dreamed about bringing Warcraft to life instead of being a top-down real-time strategy game you would just be a character running around and battling and teaming up with your friends to fight increasingly difficult bad guys. That was sort of a dream that wasn’t really in reach really until Origin came out with Ultima online. I remember installing it on my work computer expecting that I was just going to take a quick look at it. I ended up staying all night long, playing Ultima online and never left my office chair and never slept that night. EverQuest took Ultima online and extended it to the next level. The game was that much more immersive. You could play it first person. It’s still content that, for its time, EverQuest was the best game ever made. EverQuest became this massive inspiration for a lot of us. We loved the game. There were things about EverQuest, however that were kinda hard-core. You couldn’t help but play it and say, this could be improved if we could spin the content this way. It really in me reawakened the desire to make the next great game. At the time, I was on the project called Nomad A third-person, real-time strategy, RPG. It was everything. but we couldn’t really develop it. It just was crap. There’s a lot of passion, blood and sweat that went into it but it didn’t coalesce into something that people got or really got behind because there was no game at the time that tried to be like. When we make something, we’re gonna plan how that works and how that looks. We’re gonna do a zone layout and this is perfect, we love it, can we start building the world? And we make everything, all the trees and the rocks and the buildings. And we build the whole world and we look at it and we hate it. And, we’re like, OK, this just didn’t work. So, we’ll take all of it and we’ll scrap it start over and build a different world. Sometimes you need to do that. There were people on the team that were definitely hurt or disappointed that Nomad was not going to be any more. Everyone understood. We weren’t getting the traction we wanted with that game and we played EverQuest, Ultima online we thought, we could do that. Why don’t we make one of these? Why don’t we make a game that we love? Ultimately, it was Allen Adham who stepped in and said, “Hey, we’ve got to rethink the direction that were going we should be going more towards World of Warcraft and less Nomad”. As we were working on World of Warcraft, I archived cool moments from the game. Here is an old map of Eastern kingdoms. So it shows, something up here called the Dragon Isles raid which was actually in production that doesn’t exist. The players will also notice that when World of Warcraft first shipped the game only went to a level cap of 60 and you’ll see zones like Eastern Plaguelands here going 60 to 70. we had a zone called Eerie Peaks, which later got renamed to Hinterlands. This is Stormwind, the first day that it ever existed in World of Warcraft. There’s no statues around it, the road doesn’t exist and in this screenshot, you can see the statues were getting built by the art department and when something comes into World of Warcraft if it doesn’t have a texture on it it shows up as completely green. So, we had these giant green statues for some days, sitting in Stormwind City. This was the moment that we placed Onyxia in the world. Later we had some really great designers and artists work on this. As you see, Onyxia looks different than she does today in World of Warcraft. Roman Kenny would later come in and make that model look like it is today. Alex Afrasiabi and Chris Metzen were the primary drivers behind the story of things like Onyxia. When I came into Blizzard, the computer stuff always was very intimidating to me so I started writing. The boss saw what I was doing and went “I think this kid has some potential”. I’ve been working with Chris for a while. College kids, got a job at Blizzard and got paid to do art like crazy. I think that was one of the most exciting times about Blizzard. Kids coming together, throwing out ideas not knowing the rules, and not knowing if we were taking a risk. We were so naive and hungry that it didn’t matter. We’ll just chase it. All of us we played Warcraft 1 and 2, but we had questions about the World. We bugged Chris so much. He broke out these acrylic paints. We asked ourselves, "what are you painting?". And he painted a map of Azeroth on the wall. It was his way of saying "guys, this is a map of the world". He just did it. The mythological underpinnings wasn’t just about bits, bytes and wireframes. It started with words and ideas and feelings and people. I never dream that we’d build the bones of a world and hills and trees and rivers. I don’t think anybody had any idea really how many people or how much time it was going to take to make WoW. People realized, if we are really going to hit these goals we'll need more people. The team started to grow. When I came on board, the team was about 60 people which seemed big At the time, I though 60 people was a large team. I came from Ultima online, where we were about 30. We realized our estimate of doing 500 quests just isn’t going to cut it. We’re gonna have to do five times that for this game to be awesome. We wanted to get everything into the game. There were many nights where many of us would be here 2 a.m., 3 a.m., 4 a.m. The longest we’d ever taken on a game was Warcraft 3 which I want to say was 3 years. The WoW took about five years by the time it went out the door. The weeks and months were going by like they were hours. I remember it seemed impossible that we would be able to launch the game in a state that felt complete by the end of 2004. The 11th hour before the game shipped, we were getting massive pieces of content like the Onyxia raid. We made Molten Core in one week. The whole time, as we were even delivering on those pieces of content we’re thinking this isn’t enough So, it was really a sort of terrifying experience. We were tired. People were kinda beat up. It had been a long stretch of highway. But we were playing it and testing it and we were going “it’s super fun, we’re super in”. No one knew what it was going to do but there was a sense that this is fun. Hopefully, people are gonna like it and we’ll sell a few. When World of Warcraft came out, the Lord of the Rings movies did as well and taken a first step in bringing fantasy back to the cultural mainstream. You also had the Harry Potter movies, also starting around the same time. So, the cultural time was right for this product to come along. It was announced that we were due a developer signing at Fry's. One of our producers called us and said “you guys won't believe what’s going on”. We got off the freeway and there were police everywhere. Crowds of people walking down the street. It looked like Mardi Gras. And I thought “did we somehow mistakenly do this on the same night that someone was having a big event?” As we got closer and turned the corner I realized, no, actually, this is our thing. What do you mean, they’re here for us? Like, a couple of people would show up and get the box to sign. Not 6000 or whatever crazy number that showed up. Some didn’t know what was in the box, it was just sort of a leap of faith. Like, I’ve played Blizzard games before. Warcraft was great, StarCraft was great and this game is going to be awesome I just want to meet the people here. It was the most amazing experience. As a passionate Blizzard fan myself, I saw a lot of myself in the audience. Right, I saw a community of gamers that was very much like the developers that were sitting on the opposite side of the table. We were there till 5 or 6 in the morning, signing every single box it came through. That was the easy part. One of the things they felt really strongly about was not to sell more boxes than we could support on the servers we had at the time because they didn’t want to have bad experiences with servers or accounts. And it turns out those boxes we projected to last for a couple of months sold out within a day or two. We had planned to have a million users within the first 12 months of the game. We had those first million users within four months. So, all of the equipment and servers that we had planned to deploy we had meticulously planned every month were going to deploy this many we deployed them all. Are you getting bored this autumn? Autumn being the only last time before all the leaves shed and snow falls and the trees become bare it is the ideal time to plan a camping getaway. And if you stay somewhere further down south, autumn camp sites would be more enjoyable than a summer camp as the temperature is much cooler and there are lesser bugs in the air. The primary thing to be kept in mind for a fun filled autumn camp is careful planning as to when and where to hold the camp. If you want to hold the camp in exotic and great outdoors, this is how you get started.
Get brochures and magazines that exclusively speak about the national and state parks of the country and other similar area for camp sites. If you have a time constraint and are planning for a 2-3 day weekend trip, then ideally prefer a spot that is 5-6 hours from where you live. Check for parks or campsites in the vicinity. Look for places that offer adventure sports like hiking, canoeing and biking, kayaking, scuba diving. You also have to decide if you want the site to have amenities like an outhouse or showers. Choose a site which has an exquisite scenic beauty and has loads of activities to offer. The ideal place to stay in while camping is in tent-houses or cottages, that is the main attraction of a camp and what distinguishes it from a traditional holiday. High flying hotels die down the spirit of camping and you end up lazing around within the hotel walls only. Planning the date of your camping is also imperative because many sites close before winters or even earlier. So these things need to be done prior to the actual planning. Check the weather report to see what the average temperature of the place and if there are any predictions of snowfall or rain. It gets all the more difficult to plan the camping trip due to the unpredictable nature of the weather. That is why it is advisable to choose a date when the weather will be mild with slight spells of rain. A camp cannot be fun with a comfortable tent, ensure that you carry all the necessary camping gear to build up the tent. Get additional tarps to shield the outside of the camping tent and extra blankets too for the inside to keep you warm and cozy. Carry enough food and water as it would be very difficult to cook inside the tent. For 210 days, a sixteen-year-old Jessica Watson spent seven months sailing 23,000 nautical miles around the world. Her round-trip odyssey started in Sydney on October 18, 2009 and concluded on May 15, 2010. Jessica's voyage was her dream come true!
After her return to Sydney on May 15th, she was quoted as stating "I'm an ordinary girl who believed in her dream." However, what makes Jessica's solo sail noteworthy is the extraordinary circumstances of its development. After all, battling wind gusts of up to 44 knots and over 5 meter swells doesn't happen usually right? (For those interested, 44 knots of wind gusts only occur 10-15% of the time when sailing.) Well, Jessica received her Christmas present late on 2009. On December 29, 2009, Jessica single handedly overcame wind gusts of up to 44 knots and over 5 meter swells during her solo circumnavigation. Interestingly enough, during this encounter Jessica befriended a dolphin which stayed alongside the Pink Lady (name of her ship) for 6 hours through the entire storm. Was this dolphin her guardian angel? Was it a symbol of serenity and courage? Was it a friend reminding her to believe in herself? I guess only Jessica knows the answer to this one. Regardless of its significance, Jessica noted its companionship on that joyous day here. Who or what is your dolphin? Finding a cheap week in the sun.
